just came back from a tiring day at Mcyc child care centre.... the kids are super cute and energetic.... and they are v open to us volunteers also.... the whole place is just filled with kids' talking and noises.... which i realli like.... haha

we were assigned to take care of P1 to P3 kids.... at first we did cookery with the kids, and then they had to squeeze oranges, cut pears and peaches and apples, in order to make fruit pie which they can eat later. then its quite fun watching them as they fight to get oranges so tt they can squeeze e oranges.... haha, and then saw alot of pissed faces from them when they fight to get the knives and fruits... they'll say things like "can you wait a little longer?" with a v pissed look to the others.... though pissed, they forget their pissness aft abt 1-2 seconds, and continue with e laughter and fun..... well well.... tt's basically kids.... haha, and we've been through that stage haven we....

the whole table area was quite messed up after all the preparation for the fruit pie, then aft tt, we proceed to a sheltered area outside to play games with the kids. haha, and while walking there, this v sweet girl called Jing Yi(if i din rmb wrongly) came to hold my hand from behind.... its realli sweet la, u imagine holding a little girl's hand and then she's like leading you to the place.... =P and then later we proceed to playing kids games.... it was damn funny watching their reactions, cause we were playing this game tt requires them to take turn to become catcher and runner, and some of them are quite blur and dunno when its their turn to run from e catcher.... then the rest will start shouting "Run Run!!" and then the kid will suddenly realise and his facial expression is super funny.... haha....

then the adult volunteers are quite fierce and strict, v little things done by the kids will result in huge scoldings and they'll not be allowed to participate in the game. and their punishment is *drumrolllllll*, do 100 times skipping.... hahaha.... wat an interesting punishment.... and they found it realli tiring too.

all in all, its extremely fun playing and talking with the kids, and they're super cute, still rmb some of their names, Jing Yi, Karessa, Vanessa, Dolphine, Rickson, Benson, Donovan..... budden this's my only experience in SCC i guess, since i'll be tutoring Sec 3 and 4s next time..... and i think Mcyc is realli good in providing good education to the kids..... *2 thumbs up*
